Founded in Sonoma County through the shared vision of vintner Jess Jackson and Bordeaux vigneron Pierre Seillan, Vérité has spent more than 25 years producing wines that express the distinctive character of Sonoma County’s diverse terroirs. Part of Jackson Family Wines’ prestigious Spire Collection, Vérité represents one of the family’s most acclaimed estates. Pierre’s signature micro-cru philosophy, identifying, farming and vinifying individual vineyard sites according to their unique characteristics, has become the foundation of Vérité’s winemaking approach. The estate has earned international acclaim, including more than 30 perfect 100-point scores from renowned wine critics.
Pierre Seillan brings more than five decades of winemaking experience spanning France, Italy and California. After beginning his career at his family’s estate in Gascony and working across Bordeaux and the Loire Valley, Pierre brought his expertise to Sonoma County, where he helped establish Vérité and continues to oversee its wines today.
Working alongside him is his daughter, Hélène Seillan, Assistant Vigneron at Vérité. Raised between Bordeaux and Sonoma County and formally trained in viticulture and oenology, Hélène has worked with Vérité since 2008 and today helps lead all aspects of vineyard and winery management. Together, Pierre and Hélène represent two generations of winemaking expertise and a shared commitment to preserving Vérité’s legacy while guiding the estate into its next chapter.
