Our featured winery, Cardinale, is nestled in Napa Valley’s prestigious Oakville District, where it expertly crafts a single Cabernet Sauvignon from each vintage. This limited-production blend draws from Napa Valley’s most celebrated mountain appellations.
Each of its esteemed mountain vineyards contributes unique notes, creating a remarkable symphony of flavor and texture when combined. Every Cardinale bottle showcases the artistry of winemaker Christopher Carpenter.
Carpenter has been with Jackson Family Wines since 1998 and is currently the winemaker for Lokoya, Cardinale, Caladan, Mt. Brave and La Jota Vineyard Co. in Napa Valley, as well as Hickinbotham in McLaren Vale, South Australia. He also serves as general manager of Jackson Family Wines’ vineyard operations in Napa Valley, guiding the farming and financial outlook for more than 400 acres of predominantly mountain vineyards.
What is captured in each bottle is a sophisticated and powerful expression of Napa Valley. Cardinale’s mission is to capture a moment in time, influenced by the ebb and flow, challenges and triumphs, and the melody and harmony of the world around it. The winery strives to create a memorable experience that leaves a lasting impression on guests, fostering an emotional connection that can be cherished and shared with loved ones for a lifetime.
During the Orlando Wine Festival & Auction on March 1, attendees will have the opportunity to bid on an exclusive auction lot to experience these sophisticated wines from Jackson Family Wines and Chris Carpenter.
